19th August 2004 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: w Wind Stength: 15 - 30 mph Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 20 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: I didn't go to work today with the car all loaded up after yesterdays jinx on the wind. Had a good sail today the conditions were quite tough though the wind was very gusty with lots of holes in it even more than usual for Brog. Went out for a couple of hours on 6.3 sail and 112 lt board things went really well almost planned out of one gybe stayed dry on more gybes than wet ones ..on starboard tack, port is another matter my tacks are better on port so I tend to tack at that end. I decided against racing as it was a bit of a struggle to get to one of the marks, why struggle up wind when to can go scary fast down wind! Changed up to 7m later in the afternoon then up to 150lt board Wind could of been a bit cleaner but thats inland sailing 2 trips to the coast made it feel worst Im sure |
